Heppy Deane

Flautist, Pianist and Teacher.


Heppy is a flautist and pianist working as a performer and teacher based in Yorkshire UK.

Heppy studied flute and piano performance for three years graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2012 with a first class BA honours degree. She studied flute under Martyn Shaw and was awarded a second study bursary to study piano with Mark Fritton. She has ABRSM grade VIII in both flute and piano, alongside a Victoria College of Music diploma in teaching and flute performance, and is currently working towards a performance diploma in pianoforte.

Having performed extensively throughout the U.K. as a solo artist and also within ensembles at venues such as Leeds Cathedral, Town Hall and The Sage, Gateshead Heppy has also undertaken masterclasses from world renowned performing artists such as Wissam Boustany and Kevin Gowland.
